## Abstract Silica‐supported propylsulfonic acid is a very good heterogeneous catalyst for the Baeyer–Villiger oxidation of cyclic ketones to lactones with stoichiometric 30% aqueous hydrogen peroxide in 1,1,1,3,3,3‐hexafluoro‐2‐propanol as solvent.
