Highly efficient Bi~2~WO~6~—TiO~2~ heterostructures are synthesized by hydrothermal reaction of Na~2~WO~4~, Bi(NO~3~)~3~, and TiO~2~ in the presence of NEt~3~ (H~2~O, 140 °C, autoclave, 20 h) and subsequent calcination (300 °C, 4 h).
