Substituted 4(5H)-Oxazolones and Their Salts. Part 9. Synthesis of New Derivatives of 2[2-(α-Hetaryl)ethenyl]-4(5H)-oxazolonium Perchlorates and Their Properties.

-Several novel furyl(thienyl)vinyl oxazolonium perchlorates (V) as well as their butadienylene analogues (III) are prepared by reaction of oxazolonium perchlorates (I) with aldehydes (IV) or (II), respectively. They undergo deprotonation in the presence of bicarbonate or aqueous ethanol to furnish the corresponding oxazolones (VI). -(KOSULINA,
