Substituted 2,3-Dihydroisoxazoles (δ4-Isoxazolines) via Palladium-Mediated Cyclization of Propargylic N-Hydroxyureas. -During the investigation of substituted hydroxylamine derivatives such as (I) as inhibitors of the enzyme 5-lipoxygenase, 2,3-dihydroisoazoles (II) are detected as byproducts. An improved Pd(II)-catalyzed synthesis allows the preparation of (II) from (I) in good yields. -(STONER, E.
