✦ Synopsis
Studies on the Interaction Between Lanthanide Ions and Ligands in Solid Complexes of Lanthanide Hexacyanometalates. Part 3. Synthesis and Thermal Properties of a Series of Lanthanide Hexacyanocobaltate(III) n-Methanols.
-The complexes Ln[Co(CN) 6 ]•2.5MeOH (Ln: La, Ce) and Ln[Co(CN) 6 ]•2MeOH (Ln: Pr to Gd) are prepared by different conditions. The former complexes show a desolvation in three steps (first step is loss of 0.5MeOH), the di-methanolates are loosing 1.5MeOH first and the resulting 0.5MeOH at least. The trend of the enthalpy change of the overall process for the series of the complexes is sharper than that of the temp. change.
