Structure of Perovskite Type Compounds, ALaMnTaO 6 (A: Sr, Ba).

-The crystal structures of the title compounds, as determined by powder XRD, show a monoclinic space group P2 1 /n with Z = 2 for the Sr compound and a cubic space group Fm3m with Z = 4 for BaLaMnTaO 6 . The ordered distribution of Mn and Ta ions over the B sites is derived in both compounds. The title compounds are prepared by a defined heating process from La 2 O 3 , MnO, Ta 2 O 5 and ACO 3 (A: Sr, Ba). -(HORIKUBI, T.; WATANABE, H.;
