Structure Based Interference with Insect Behavior -Cyclopropene Analogues of Pheromones Containing Z-Alkenes.
-Analogues of pheromones of three insect species (cf. (VIa), (VIII), and (IX), resp.) in which a Z-alkene is replaced by a cyclopropene moiety are synthesized via a phasetransfer catalyzed addition of dibromocarbene to 2-bromoalkenes as the key reaction.
