Structure and Magnetic Properties of Gd 3 (Fe 1-x Tix) 29 (x = 0.011-0.034).
-The novel single-phase title compounds are prepared from the elements by arc-melting under an argon atmosphere followed by annealing at 1373 K for 72 h and quenching in ice water. They crystallize in the monoclinic system, space group P2 1 /c. The compounds show an easy a-b plane anisotropy in the temp. range from 77 K to Curie temperature. The Curie temp. and anisotropy field increase with Ti content, and the saturation magnetization decreases with Ti content. -(HUO, G.;
