-Single crystals of the polymorphic title phases are prepared by solid state reactions between NH 4 H 2 PO 4 and SrCl 2 in the presence of Y 2 O 3 at 623 K (β-phase) and 773 K (γ-phase), respectively. The structure of β-Sr(PO 3 ) 2 is redetermined (monoclinic, space group P2 1 /c, Z = 8), while that of γ-Sr(PO 3 ) 2 (monoclinic, space group P2 1 /c, Z = 4) is reported for the first time. - (GRAIA, MOHSEN;
