Highly Stereoselective SN2' Reactions of Grignard Reagents Towards CF3-Containing Allylic Acetates. -The Ξ³-trifluoromethylated allylic acetates react with Grignard reagents in the presence of catalytic CuCN/TmsCl to form the products ( III) and (IV) resulting exclusively from an SN2' type reaction.
