Specific Features of the Photochemical Conversion of C-(5-Nitro-2furyl)-N-phenyl-and C,N-Di(p-bromophenyl)nitrones in Liquid and Crystal Phases.
-The photolysis of readily prepared nitrones (III) in solvents with different polarity is studied. In polar solvents like MeCN, the irradiation of (IIIa) results in the detection of a long-wave band which corresponds to an intermediate photoproduct with oxaziridine structure.
