β¦ Synopsis
Solvent and Salt Dependent 1,3-Dipolar Cycloaddition: Synthesis of Isoxazolidino-and Isoxazolino-Carbocycles.
-Nitrones and nitrile oxides derived in situ from unsaturated alcohol ( I) can undergo intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions producing isoxazolidines (III) and isoxazolines (VI), resp., in appropriate solvents. The cycloadditions require metal coordination of the solvent to achieve high yields of the desired heterocyclic products. -
