โœฆ Synopsis

Sol-Gel-Derived Carbon Ceramic Electrodes: A New Lithium Intercalation Anode.

-Sol-gel-derived carbon ceramic electrodes (CCE), which comprise graphite powder dispersed in sol-gel-derived silicate or organically modified silicate binder, can be used as reversible lithium intercalation anodes. Their porous structure, high rigidity, and their large potential window in organic solvents make CCE an interesting anode material for "rocking chair" batteries.
