โฆ Synopsis
Sodium Ion Conductor Based Sensor Attached with NaNO2 for Amperometric Detection of NO2.
-An amperometric NO2 sensing device based on NASICON attached with NaNO2 auxillary layers on the sensing and counterelectrodes can detect NO2 more precisely at 200 โข C in a limited concentration range as compared to an NaNO3-attached device. An almost linear relationship between the increments of current from the air level and the NO2 concentration is seen only for the NaNO2-attached device in the range 0 to 80 ppm. This device exhibits a high selectivity for NO2 which usually coexists with other gases in combustion exhausts. The sensing mechanism is briefly discussed.
