✦ Synopsis
Simple Synthetic Method of Allyl-and Vinyl-Epoxides by Allylation of Carbonyl Groups with Allylic Tins Catalyzed by PbI 2 -HMPA. -The PbI 2 -HMPA catalyzed chemoselective carbonyl-allylation in α-halo ketones to achieve one-pot preparation of allyl epoxides (III) is presented. Moreover a simple and effective method for the preparation of vinyl epoxides [cf. (VI), (VIII)] by reaction using γ-chloroallyltin is given. -(SHIBATA, I.;
