✦ Synopsis

Selective Dehydrogenation of Isopropanol on Low-Percentage Supported Bimetallic Rhenium-Containing Catalysts.

-The catalytic efficiency of several sibunite-supported rhenium, nickel, palladium, or copper catalysts in the dehydrogenation of isopropanol (I) to acetone (II) is studied. It is shown that rhenium-containing bimetallic catalysts (1-2 % Re with 1-2 % Ni or 1 % Pd) possess the best catalytic activity and stability. -
