✦ Synopsis
Selective Carbon-Bromine Bond Fission Induced by Non-Resonant Two-Photon (NRTP) Excitation of trans-4-Bromostilbene.
-Non-resonant two-photon excitation of trans-4-bromostilbene (I) results in a highly selective carbon-bromine bond fission furnishing trans-stilbene (IV), while single-photon excitation of (I) induces predominantly cis-trans isomerization.
