Abstract

The resolution of 2‐amino alcohols (II), protected by urethane‐type groups, either via porcine pancreatic lipase (PPL) hydrolysis of the corresponding racemic acetates (I) or via PPL‐catalyzed transesterification of racemic alcohols (II) is studied.
