✦ Synopsis
Remote Oxygen Migration Reaction Between Sulfur Atoms in 1,4-Bis(methylthio)benzene Derivatives: Possible Formation of Bis(dithia dication) Dimer as an Intermediate.
-In TFA solution, the oxygen atom of the monosulfoxide of 1,4-bis(methylthio)benzene migrates from one sulfur atom to the other sulfur atom. The results are explained on the basis of the formation of a dimeric dication.
