Remote Electronic Control of the Ligand in the Enantioselective Palladium-Catalyzed Allylic Alkylation with Chiral Oxazolinylpyridines.

-New chiral oxazolinylpyridines (I) bearing electrondonating or electron-withdrawing groups at the 4-position of the pyridine are investigated as ligands in the Pd-catalyzed allylic substitution of the propenyl acetate (II) with dimethyl malonate.
