Regiospecific Synthesis of 1-Iodo-1-arylselenoethenes via Hydrostannation of Arylselenoethynes.

-The palladium-catalyzed hydrostannation of arylselenoethynes (I) with tributyltin hydride affords regioselectively 1arylselenovinylstannanes (III) which provide 1-iodo-1-arylselenoethenes (IV) on treatment with iodine.
