Regioselective Synthesis of New Biheterocyclic Triazepines.

-A one-step synthesis of the title compounds (III) and (V) using liquid-liquid phase-transfer catalysis technique, is presented with a view to the potential pharmacological activities of fused heterocyclic systems. The different behavior of triazepine (VI) compared to triazepine (I) is explained by the low reactivity of the oxo group, which is a hard-acid center.
