Regioselective Pd(0)-Catalyzed Coupling Reactions on Methyl 2,3-Dibromofuran-5-carboxylate as a Facile Entry into 2,3,5-Tri-and 2,3-Disubstituted Furans.

-The 2,3-dibrominated furan (I) undergoes efficient Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions with a variety of organometallic reagents to yield products of exclusive reaction at the 2-position.
