Regio-and Diastereoselective Ene Reaction of 4-Phenyl-1,2,4triazoline-3,5-dione with Chiral Allylic Alcohols and Their Derivatives.

-Allylic alcohols and their methyl ethers and acetates react with triazolinedione (II) with complete regioselectivity and, in most cases, with high diastereoselectivity to give triazolyl derivatives which are potentially useful for the preparation of 1,2-and 1,3-amino alcohols.
