Reduction of Carbonyl Compounds by Using Polymethylhydrosiloxane: Reactivity and Selectivity.

-The reduction of a variety of aldehydes and ketones is reported using the chemically inert and easy to handle polysilyl compound PMHS, which is switched into the active species by catalytic amounts of Bu4NF.
