β¦ Synopsis
Reactions of Methacryloyl Isocyanate with Imines Derived from Ketones and Alkyl Amines.
-Methacryloyl isocyanate (I) reacts with imines such as (II) and (V) to form ureas (III) and/or oxazine derivatives (IV) and (VI) depending on the reaction conditions as well as the nature of the imine. The formation of these products presumably proceeds via intermediate enamine tautomers of imines.
