Reaction of 2,2,4,5-Tetramethyl-1,3-dioxa-2-silacyclohexane with Diisobutyl Ester of Isobutylboronic Acid.

-The trifluoroboranecatalyzed reaction of the title 1,3,2-dioxasilacyclohexane (I) with diisobutyl isobutylborate (II) results in a recyclization to afford the 1,3,2dioxaboracyclohexane (III). The reaction proceeds with retention of the initial cis/trans ratio. -(
