Pyrolysis of 1,2-Diethyltetrachlorodisilane.

-The vacuum pyrolysis of readily prepared title compound (V) in the presence of diene (VI) as trapping reagent results in the formation of the silacyclopentene heterocycles (VII), (VIII), and (IX) in variable ratios depending on the reaction temperature.
