## Abstract Triaryl‐ and triheteroarylmethanes have been synthesized in very good yield under solvent‐free conditions from differently substituted aldehydes and 2‐methylfuran or methoxybenzene in the presence of Yb(OTf)~3~ as catalyst. (Β© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2
