β¦ Synopsis
Preparation of Enamines from the Condensation of Glycine Esters with Nitro-Heterocyclic Aldehydes.
-On attempted synthesis of the imine derived from the 5-nitro aldehydes (I) and glycine ethyl ester (II) the enamines (III) are obtained instead. The reactivity of related amines/heterocyclic aldehydes is investigated in order to get insight in the reaction mechanism. The role of a nitro substituent in the starting aldehyde is discussed. -(CERECETTO, H.;
