Preparation of Calcium Hydroxyapatite of High Purity Through Alkoxides.

-A homogeneous, highly pure powder of hdroxyapatite, Ca 5 (PO 4 ) 3 OH (IV), with excellent crystallinity (space group P6 3 /m) is synthesized via Ca(O-Et) 2 (III). The dispersity of the obtained product can be controlled by appropriate thermal work up (III β†’ IV). -(ORLOVSKII, V. P.;
