In order to obtain a useful model system for the sedimentary tetrahydrobenzoporphyrins the title compound (X) is synthesized via an efficient approach, which is a practical alternative for the synthesis of such substances. Mono-labeling of (X) is achieved in an identical way using only (I) or (IX) in its labeled form. -(CHEN, S.; LASH, T. D.;
