Physical and Chemical Threshold Behavior in Chalcogenide Networks: 119 Sn Moessbauer Spectroscopy of Ge(Sn)-As-Se Glasses.

-Detailed differential scanning calorimetric and Lamb-Moessbauer factor measurements of 119 Sn dopant species as a function of temp. and glass composition are presented. The results give insight into the potential and the limitations of Moessbauer spectroscopy for providing structural information on chalcogenide glasses. It is demonstrated that the Lamb-Moessbauer factors of Sn dopants and the Moessbauer lattice temperatures extracted from their temp. dependences can serve as qualitative indicators of threshold behavior in such glasses.
