Phototransformation of Nitrofuran Derivatives Under the Action of Laser Irradiation.

-Laser irradiation of the title furan and nitrofuran derivatives (I) and (II) induces a disturbance in conjugation (as shown by UV-VIS spectroscopy) possibly by cis-trans isomerization of the azomethine double bond.
