✦ Synopsis
Phase Equilibria in the Ni-Cr-Ti System at 850 • C. -The isothermal cross-section of the ternary diagram Ni-Cr-Ti at 850 • C is constructed by combining diffusion couple technique and method of equilibrated alloys. No ternary phases are formed in this system at 850 • C. A characteristic feature of the isotherm is the existence of the equilibria between TiCr 2 -Laves phases and binary Ti-Ni intermetallics. The solubility of Ni in the hexagonal β-TiCr 2 and the cubic α-TiCr 2 phase as well as the solid state solubility of Cr in the binary Ti-Ni intermetallics are established. -(VAN BEEK,
