Palladium(0)-Catalyzed Coupling Cyclization of Functionalized Allenes with Hypervalent Iodonium Salts.

-The title reaction of allenic alcohols and amines provides the corresponding heterocyclic compounds in good yields. Cyclization of allenic acids (IV) leads to formation of lactones (V), which are accompanied by lactones (VII) when iodonium salt (VI) is used.
