Abstract

Palladium‐catalyzed cyclocarbonylation of bromocyclohexenylcarbaldehydes (I), (V) and (VII) with anilines under CO atmosphere proceeds smoothly for a range of aniline derivatives to give title hydroisoindolones in moderate to good yields.
