Palladium-Catalyzed

Regioselective Carbonylation of 2,3-Dienylamines to α-Vinylacrylamides.

-The insertion of carbon monoxide occurs in a regioselective manner at the central sp carbon of the allene unit without forming other isomers. The less-hindered amines (I) and (IV) are carbonylated smoothly in the presence of 0.5 mol% of palladium catalyst.
