Palladium-Catalyzed Hydrosulfination of Allenes with Tosylhydrazine Leading to Allylsulfones.
-The Pd-catalyzed reaction of the monosubstituted allenes (I) with tosylhydrazine yields the allylsulfones (III) in a new type of hydrosulfination. However, the analogues benzylallene (IV) gives an isomerized allylsulfone (VI) and only traces of the expected product (V). On the other hand, reaction of the disubstituted allene (VII) furnishes the expected allylsulfone (VIII).
