β¦ Synopsis
Palladium-Catalyzed Condensation of Aryl Iodides and Diaryliodonium Salts with Terminal Acetylenes in Aqueous Media.
-Aryl iodides as well as diaryliodonium salts smoothly react with terminal acetylenes in aqueous solutions containing catalytic amounts of PdCl2(PPh3)2 and CuI to furnish the corresponding aryl acetylenes ( cf. (III), (V), (VII)) in high yields.
