โฆ Synopsis
Palladium-Catalyzed Attachment of Labels with Acetylenic Linker Arms to Biological Molecules.
-A series of fluorescent and enzymic labels containing a terminal alkyne group linker are attached to suitably derivatized biomolecules, e.g. amino acids, nucleosides and steroids, by Pd-catalyzed coupling. The terminal alkyne group forms a nonpolar covalent bond between the linker arm and the biomolecule and to the position of the label in a remote position from functional groups on the biomolecule. The method allows the detection of biomolecules at concentrations in the subnanogram range. -(CRISP, G. T.;
