Oxidation of Organic Sulfides by Heteropolyvanadomolybdate-Hydrogen Peroxide System.

-Heteropolyvanadomolybdates prove to be useful catalysts for the selective peroxide oxidation of sulfides to sulfoxides. The results are compared with those reported for vanadosilicalite-catalyzed oxidations and a possible reaction scheme is given. -(VISWANATHAN, B.;
