โฆ Synopsis
1998 organo-silicon compounds, isocyclic C derivatives organo-silicon compounds, isocyclic C derivatives S 0064 23 -175 ortho-Bis(amino)arylnickel(II) Halide Complexes Containing Perfluoroalkyl Chains as Model Catalyst Precursors for Use in Fluorous Biphase Systems. -A new effective procedure for the synthesis of ligand (III) is presented. These compounds give the corresponding Pt and Ni complexes, e.g. (IV). The nickel complexes are shown to have very similar catalytic behavior when compared to the non-fluorous catalysts in a standard Kharasch addition reaction of CCl 4 to methylmethacrylate, but lack sufficient solubility for use under fluorous biphasic conditions. -(KLEIJN, H.;
