-The structure of the cage compound (III) is confirmed by the X-ray structure analysis of the corresponding W(CO) 5 complex. Such a compound with a sterically fixed 1,4-diene system is useful for homo-Diels-Alder reactions with electron-deficient alkynes such as (IV). -(LOEBER, OLIVER;
