Olefin Epoxidations Using the Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide-H 2 O 2 System.

-The use of the title system to oxidize various olefins is described. In contrast to other studies in which analogous reagents failed, cyclododecene is oxidized in a yield of 73%. The influence of the solvent (methanol or ethanol) is discussed. -(
