Nickel(0) Complex-Catalyzed Detelluration of Diorganyl Tellurides and Ditellurides with Phosphines.

-The successful nickel-catalyzed detelluration of diaryl tellurides (I) and (III) with phosphines affording biaryls (II) and (IV) in high yields is presented. The reaction is particularly noticeable in the case of (IIIc) since chloroarenes show potential reactivity towards Ni(0) species. -(
