A "One-Pot" Synthesis of 2-((Trimethylsilyl)methyl)-2-propen-1-yl Acetate.
-A convenient and general one-pot strategy for the title reaction is developed and applied to the synthesis of title compound (IX) which is a useful trimethylene methane precursor.
