✦ Synopsis

Single crystals of the title compound are grown hydrothermally from mixtures of NH 4 VO 3 , Na 2 MoO 4 , H 2 C 2 O 4 , andH 2 O (pH 6; autoclave, 433 K, 4 d). The compound, which crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 (Z = 1), has a well known decavanadate structure. The centrosymmetric polyanion is built up by eight (V/Mo)O 6 and two VO 6 edge-sharing distorted octahedra. -(XU, YAN;
