New Sodium and Calcium Perborates. -Reaction of tetrahydroxoborates Na[B(OH 4 )] and Ca[B(OH 4 )] 2 with conc. H 2 O 2 gives hitherto unknown perborates of Na and Ca, resp., having a polymeric structure. These perborates can be formulated as Na 2 [B 2 (O 2 ) 2 (OOH) 4 ] and {Ca[B(OOH) 2 (OH) 2 ] 2 }n based on chemical, thermal, and IR spectroscopic studies. -(IPPOLITOV, E. G.;
