✦ Synopsis

New Pyrrolobenzothiazepine Derivatives as Molecular Probes of the " Peripheral-Type" Benzodiazepine Receptor (PBR) Binding Site.

-A series of new pyrrolobenzothiazepine derivatives (VI) and a pyrrolobenzothiazocine derivative (X) are prepared and evaluated for their affinity towards the PBR. Compound (VId) is found to be the most potent ligand for this receptor in this series.
